As a Data Scientist at Melexis, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, collaborate with talented engineers, and make a significant impact on the company's success.

More specifically, you will

  • Develop and implement machine learning models to address complex challenges in semiconductor testing, production, and other areas.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product engineers, test engineers, and application engineers, to identify opportunities for AI and machine learning solutions.
  • Utilise advanced data analysis techniques and tools, such as Spark and Python, to process and manipulate large datasets.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials and educate colleagues on AI and machine learning concepts.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and advancements in the field of AI and machine learning.
  • Integrate ML models into various products and platforms.
  • Use generative AI to improve our workflows, enhance efficiency, and drive innovation across the organisation.
  • Assist in the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models in production environments.


Your profile

  • PhD or Master's degree in a relevant field (Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, etc.) with a strong foundation in data science and machine learning.
  • Practical experience in developing and implementing machine learning models, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (Google Cloud Platform or AWS) and big data processing tools (Spark).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
