We mainly focus on semiconductors for the automotive industry. Melexis is energizing the transition to Electrical Vehicles (EVs). We increase the efficiency of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) cars. Besides the automotive market, we cater to other markets as well.

Project Description

As an intern at Melexis, you will evaluate the Pareto frontier between size and speed for different FPU architectures for
our new RISC-V core.

Expected results

• A configurable RTL design of an FPU
• Benchmark results comparing the Size and speed of different architectures

Your profile

• Master 2
• Basic knowledge in RTL coding (Verilog and/or VHDL)
• Basic knowledge of CPU architecture
• Basic knowledge of Floating Point Arithmetic
