We mainly focus on semiconductors for the automotive industry. Melexis is energizing the transition to Electrical Vehicles (EVs). We increase the efficiency of Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) cars. Besides the automotive market, we cater to other markets as well.

Project Description

A well-structured database enables organizations to collect, store, and analyze large volumes of data efficiently.
Your mission will be to create a database generator and renderer :

• According to a list of requirements giving guidelines about the expected database content.
• With content coming from various sources with different data formats.

The different steps in your mission will be to propose an architecture of this database, design and implement and, test
it. Each of these steps will be a milestone where you will present your solution to the users.

 

Expected results

 By the end of the internship, you will deliver:

• A database matching the requirements provided.
• A script for generating and updating the database.
• A database renderer.
• A user guide and a developer documentation to ensure the adoption of the project.

Your profile

• Master 1
• Basic programming knowledge (Python is envisaged)
• Understanding of relational database concepts (SQL, normalization, indexing...
