Your future job

As a Senior Field Applications Engineer (15% product support, 30% customer support) at Melexis, you will build strong technical expertise on the Melexis product line by evaluation and characterization in order to ensure the relevant technical support to our customers and participate to the business development.

More specifically, you will

  • develop hardware and embedded software for e.g. development kits and demos that demonstrate product strengths and use in generic applications and anticipate to the customer’s expectations

  • analyze the quality problem in the application to get the customer return solved

  • guide customers to the best fitting product according to their requirements and perform customer visits, building good personal relations

  • define, implement and validate user-friendly development tools to accelerate the customer design-in cycle

  • provide technical training to the Melexis Sales force and to customers to facilitate the design-in activities of the customer

Your profile

  • more than 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry

  • advanced technical expertise at the application level

  • in-depth understanding of the functions of the Integrated Circuit (IC) design at block level

  • effective communication skills in English

  • good knowledge of electronics solutions for the customer applications

  • willingness to travel frequently (30%)
