Your future job
As a Regional Sales Director at Melexis, you will lead the Sales team in Korea, support the development of the sales plan in the region to which you are assigned and ensure its implementation.
More specifically, you will:
- Develop and profitably implement the annual and mid-term (5 years) sales plans and budgets by contributing into identification of priority trends, align with the Business Units (BU) the implementation targets in terms of customers and product applications
- Achieve the design win value that has been set for the year and the respective region as part of the global sales plan within the cost budget. Ensure the sales funnel is maintained at the appropriate level to achieve corporate goals
- Organize further penetration of existing accounts and contract new customers within targeted industries upon the agreed guidelines with the business units by adequately managing the direct sales channels, representatives and distribution networks (tactical and strategic directions)
- Monitor the results of the regional sales force and own results in terms of successes and lessons to learn, support global management business analysis by collecting regional KPIs and distribution process and play a pivotal role in the New Business Opportunities meetings
- Manage the resources offered to each customer in agreement with the BU-Sales marketing plan to a level that can be justified on a cost / benefit basis while achieving and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Provide information to the Company on market trends in the assigned region, update and adapt Sales strategies and tactics
- Manage directly a limited number of customers’ relationship
Your profile
- an engineering degree, preferably in electronics
- 10+ years of business experience, preferably in a related technical sales experience (automotive electronics or semiconductors)
- effective communication skills in English\willingness to travel intensively
