Your future job

As an Improvement Program Manager (Data & AI), you will own the overall program for enhancing data accessibility and developing data-driven solutions within the Operations department to optimize operational processes and empower decision-making across various levels. You will also explore and leverage opportunities to incorporate AI and machine learning to further enhance these solutions.

More specifically, you will:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of projects focused on improving data accessibility and usability within the organization such as developing dashboards and analytical tools for various stakeholders (e.g., shift leaders, operators, improvement engineers).
  • Translate business (operations) requirements into technical specifications for data engineering and IT, ensuring that data solutions meet the needs of different user profiles.
  • Oversee the rollout and adoption of data solutions within operational teams, fostering a data-driven culture and providing training and support to users.
  • Monitor the performance and effectiveness of implemented data solutions, identify areas for improvement, and champion continuous optimization.
  • Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for data initiatives by engaging at all levels, from shop floor operators to senior management. Align the roadmap with business goals while managing risks, budgets, and stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Lead the "Monitoring program" and "Power users horizontal line," ensuring effective communication and collaboration between stakeholders. Collaborate closely (share, align, report) with other program managers within Operations to reach the goals of Smart Factory definition and implementation.
  • Explore and evaluate opportunities to integrate AI/ML capabilities into existing data solutions to enhance their functionality and provide deeper insights.

Your profile

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in data analysis, project management, and process improvement.
  • Thorough understanding of Production processes and IT concepts.
  • Understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
  • Proven project & program management skills with a track record of on-time, on-budget, on-scope delivery.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, negotiate and influence cross-functional teams to drive data adoption.
  • Comfortable working with both technical (data engineers, scientists) and business (manufacturing, supply chain, quality) teams.
  • Theoretical knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts; hands-on experience is an advantage.
  • Experience with BI tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Qlik, Power BI) is seen as an advantage.
