The IC Test Engineer at Melexis combines knowledge in electronics, software and electrical measurements, creating an automated measurement algorithm to find defective ICs. With the created algorithms our IC Test Engineers identify the best characteristics of our "Smart Sensors" and program the needed behavior to cover our customer requirements and needs.

More specifically the IC Test Engineer at Melexis:

• Takes ownership of a complete test solution development

• Ensures the test solution robustness for sustainable production testing

• Creates and validates the hardware (PCB) and software (test program) needed for the test solution

• Write in C/C++ the electrical measurement algorithm of IC datasheet parameters;

• Works together with the design team to ensure the optimal test coverage

• Uses statistical methods during the evaluation of measurement results

• Works with laboratory equipment to verify that all of the written tests function correctly;

• Keeps the KPIs for the test solution in mind and provide regular status and progress report of the test solution development project

• Follows the industry trends
