Melexis, a global microelectronics engineering company, is set to exhibit at CAR-ELE (Tokyo, 13 to 15 January 2016), reflecting its ongoing commitment to driving technological progression within the automotive sector.

Among the cutting-edge Melexis products on display will be a selection from its magnetic sensor portfolio, including the newly released MLX92292 latch/switch and its family of IMC-Hall devices, combining micropower functionality with ASIL B capability. These will be complemented by the latest innovations in optoelectronics, with an interactive demonstration of the company’s 3D Time-of-Flight imaging solution (developed in partnership with Sony) for vehicle occupancy and gesture recognition purposes. Other demonstrations on the Melexis booth will include use of the company's highly cost-effective infrared imaging arrays for more efficient automotive climate control and its LIN RGB solution for personalization of automobile interior lighting.

Now in its 8th year, CAR-ELE is the most prominent exhibition and conference in Asia regarding automobile technology, with approximately 30,000 visitors expected to attend. To see Melexis’ automotive technology in action come to its CAR-ELE (Booth W3-76).
